Learn to Ride Before you Buy!

If you are planning to eventually buy a horse, I strongly suggest that you at least get the basics down, walk, trot, and canter in a circle without having to have a rail. Talk to an instructor about what is available in the riders' ability and price range. Investigate the expense before you buy.
The horse, no matter what you pay for it, is the cheapest investment. The care and the equipment and the constant expense will well exceed your purchase price. Talk to a professional. There is a difference in a horse that is broke to ride and one that is safe to ride. Be safe, not sorry! Get instruction first, then buy. Not the other way around.
